Terms of Service

Effective: August 2026

These Terms of Service govern use of leanexcel.com and the Lean Operations Monitor Microsoft Excel add-in, provided by Lean Excel Solutions. By using the website or installing the add-in, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the add-in inside Microsoft Excel, on workbooks you are authorized to access.

  • You may use the tools for personal, academic, or commercial operations.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, republish, or resell the add-in, or share a Pro subscription with people who are not entitled to it.
  • Your workbook remains yours. Results are decision-support only; you are responsible for how you use them.

2. Free and Pro

  • Free: OEE, Takt Time, and Pareto — no account required.
  • Lean Ops Pro: Setup, Reference Data, Logs, and Analytics — requires sign-in (Microsoft, Google, or email) and a paid subscription.
  • If a subscription ends, Pro features lock. Free calculators remain available. We do not change or delete your spreadsheet.

3. Payments

Lean Ops Pro is sold by Paddle.com Market Limited (and/or affiliates) as Merchant of Record. Your purchase agreement for paid fees is with Paddle. Paddle issues invoices, collects applicable tax, and handles refunds under its Checkout Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Use of the add-in is also governed by these Terms. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Subscriptions

  • Lean Ops Pro is $29 per month or $290 per year (USD), chosen at checkout. Paddle may add tax at checkout.
  • The subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Paddle emails a receipt for each charge.
  • We may change the price for future renewals with at least 30 days' notice. The price you already paid for the current period does not change.
  • Cancel anytime via Manage billing in the add-in, the link on your Paddle receipt, or hello@leanexcel.com. Cancellation stops future charges. Pro remains available until the end of the period you paid for.
  • If a payment fails, the add-in may show a notice while Paddle retries the charge. Pro may be suspended if the charge does not succeed.

5. Refunds

Cancelling stops renewals; it does not by itself refund amounts already paid. Refunds are decided under Paddle's policies and applicable consumer law. Details are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The add-in, branding, and documentation belong to Lean Excel Solutions (and licensors). Your workbook content belongs to you.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the add-in unlawfully
  • Interfere with the service
  • Redistribute or resell access without our written permission
  • Share Pro credentials with unauthorized users

8. Disclaimer

The website and add-in are provided "as is" and "as available," to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that calculations are error-free or suitable for a particular operational outcome. These Terms do not limit rights that consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits or downtime from decisions based on the add-in). For paid service, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that service in the twelve months before the claim. We do not limit liability that the law requires us to keep.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence applies. Paid purchases are also subject to Paddle's buyer terms for the payment relationship.

For issues about the software or this website, email us first. If we cannot resolve it, disputes may be heard in Buldhana, Maharashtra, India, in English, unless consumer law lets you use your local courts.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a revised effective date. Price changes for renewals follow section 4.

If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
